What made you want to be in a band/ learn to play drums? After years of watching my dad play in bands, run festivals and other parts of my family be so involved with music that inspired me more than anything to start and want to be involved in music. Which artist inspires your music the most? This is a close tie between Billie Joe Armstrong and Dave Grohl, but the list I guess could potentially go on… and on… and on… and… on… If you could be in any other band in the world, who would it be and why? Green Day, because along side Nirvana, The Smashing Pumpkins and Queens Of The Stone Age they are one of my all time favourite bands. Having listened to them since as far back as I can remember in my life I’ve always dreamt of playing their classic albums. If you could make anyone else in the world join Xebra, who would it be and why? Dave Grohl, because who on earth wouldn’t want this true legend of the music world in their band? What is your favourite album ever? Hybrid Theory by Linkin Park. Would you rather be in the studio or playing live? Playing Live; nothing in the world compares to a purely amazing live gig. If you were in the X factor, which judge would you like to mentor you and why? I absolutely despise the whole idea of the X-Factor; I think it is crippling not only the minds of the younger generations by force-feeding them the likes of ‘One Direction’ that are made not for the beauty of music itself but for the fat cats in their big executive suits drooling over their money whilst watching the music industry burn to the ground because they know so many people are too narrow minded to go out and find the type of real music they truly enjoy so instead settle for what the radios want them to listen to. Do you have any hobbies away from music? Graphic design, long boarding, anything creative/fun mainly extreme sports and motor sports. If you were a biscuit, what would you be? A Kit-Kat. What did you want to be when you were little? An F1 driver or a musician that travels the world. What would your biography title be? I’m not too good at writing books, but I’ve given it a shot anyway! You get stuck on a desert island, what three things would you take? A genie, one wish and the ability to wish for more wishes. What is the best gig you have ever been to see? The Prodigy at Download 2012: the whole performance blew my mind, lighting and pyro to the music and performance itself.
